There is a certain satisfaction when making things with your hands. Creating something from raw materials, especially if it is something useful. There is something therapeutic about it, something rewarding. I’m sure other crafters and craftsman know of what I speak. For me, it is working with wood.
There are two ways to create things like this for woodworkers. By making and assembling pieces a woodworker creates items. In contrast, a wood carver or woodturner creates items by removing that which is not envisioned to be part of the object.
I will post items worth sharing as I make them and tag them with ‘woodworking’ or ‘woodturning’ as appropriate, and possibly other words to assist in searches.
