Gourmet Cooking

Both Connie and I enjoy gourmet cooking. Trying out new recipes, trying to reproduce flavors discovered on travels or at a favorite restaurant.

We designed our kitchen for more than one person to work in, double ovens and a large uncluttered island for mise en place. There is also a large pantry room for all those appliances, gadgets, cookbooks, etc. There are even two dishwashers which are surprisingly handy. I even have a white chef jacket and toque blanche that I seldom wear, LOL.

You won’t hear the Soup Nazi’s “No soup for you!” as savory soups are one of our favorite things to make.
