I’ve maintained my paternal family tree, [Kuni & Carl Brandner Sr.] since 1987. I think I was the only one in the family who had a personal computer at the time and volunteered to help out my cousin Nancy (Packenham) Rogers document her research. This was before the internet was available, so her research was all manual. Since then, I’ve kept it going for the reunions every 5 years.
In addition, I’ve made available a lot of Old Family Photos that my brother, Tom, had scanned some years later. I also obtained Carl’s brother Ferdinand’s family tree ca. 2005 and put it into the same format as the one I had for Karl. This helps us identify the Brandner’s that stayed around Medford, WI at least.
Recently(2021), I’m beginning to collect what information I can about my maternal family tree. This will focus on the Clarence Cypher family and the Clara (Thomsen) Cypher family, their siblings and ancestors.
